DeVry University Online

DeVry University is a well-known online campus. In fact it ranks as 25th in the Online Education Database's (OEDB) overall ranking, which measure metrics such as acceptance rate, financial aid, graduation rate, peer Web citations, retention rate, scholarly citations, student-faculty ratio, and years accredited. DeVry University has campuses scattered in 26 states. It also has two online campuses, one for Canada-based students called DeVry Calgary and another general online campus called DeVry University Online.

DeVry University Online offers a pretty good range of programs in the fields Business and Management, Engineering and Information Sciences, Health Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Media Arts and Technology.

Basic admission requirements at DeVry is as follows:

- Interview with Admissions Advisor
- 17 years of age
- High school diploma or GED certificate - CGPA of 2.70
- ACT or SAT scores

Tuition for all Canadian site-based and online programs is at $525 per credit hour. For continuing education courses tuition is at $1,400 per course. Military tuition rates range from $250 to $280 per credit hour. This does not include supplemental expenses such as books and fees.

Financial aid is available in DeVry University in the form of grants & state funded programs, loans, and payment plans. The university also offers quite a number of scholarships, awarding about 7,500 scholarships to its students every year.
DeVry University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA). Some of its programs are also are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET.
