ECPI College of Technology is a for-profit college located in three states. It has six campuses in Virginia, four in North Carolina, and 3 in South Carolina. It also has an online campus called ECPI Online.
ECPI has earned good reviews. According to Community College Week, ECPI has ranked consistently in the past 10 years for the Number of Associate Degree Graduates in Computer & Information Sciences & Support Services (Top 3) and Number of Associate Degree Graduates in Engineering-Related Technologies/Technicians (Top 10). In 2007 ECPI was also awarded the "Best of Hampton Roads" gold award for Best Technical Training School.
ECPI Online offers Bachelor Degree Programs in Healthcare IT and Administration, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Electronics Engineering, IT Management, Network Security, Business Administration, and Food Service Management. It also offers 2 associate degree programs.
ECPI is not an open admissions college, which means that SAT and ACT scores, along with high school grades are very important in determining whether an applicant will get in.
As of 2008, ECPI tuition was listed at an average of $317 per credit hour. Currently rates for Navy College Program Distance Learning Partnership students tuition is $250 per credit hour.
