Everglades University was founded in 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, FLorida. It was then called the American Flyers College. After several moves and corporate buy outs the college found its way to its present main campus in Boca Raton, Florida and got its present name. The university has two other campus in Sarasota and Orlando, as well as an online campus called Everglades University Online Education. Everglades University has made a name for itself in the online industry ranking 20th in the Online Education Database’s “2009 Best Online Universities” list.
Everglades University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. It is also currently awaiting accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Online programs available at Everglades University Online Education portal include undergraduate degree programs (Bachelor degree) in Business Administration, Applied Management, Aviation Management, Alternative Medicine, Aviation Technology, and Construction Management. There are also two online graduate degree programs available: Master's in Aviation Science and Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
