Graceland University is a private, four-year liberal arts university located in two separate campuses – its main campus in Lamoni, Iowa and a branch campus in Independence, Missouri. Founded in 1895, its mission is to insure that all its students are provided the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), Graceland University offers various programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts or a Master of Arts degree in a wide range of majors. A comprehensive School of Nursing is housed in its Independence Missouri campus as well as undergraduate and graduate education programs. The undergraduate Business Administration program is also available at the Independence campus. The Lamoni campus, on the other hand, offers 36 undergraduate and 60 degree options and is the site of the university’s varsity and intramural sports programs.
Apart from its campus-based degree programs, Graceland also offers an online education program for Master of Education; Master of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN to MSN; and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Management. These online programs were developed to allow busy working individuals to further their studies and have access to high quality education without worrying about distance or time.
Cost of attendance for full-time undergraduate students at the Lamoni campus in Iowa is US$28,020 per year. For graduate students and those taking up online degree courses, cost of tuition varies according to the field of study chosen. Financial aid is available in the form of grants, scholarships and loans.
