National American University (NAU) is a comprehensive technical and professional institution of higher learning offering associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs designed to fit in the busy schedules of working adults. It has seven physical campuses found in different locations and its online campus. NAU was founded in 1941 in South Dakota as the National School of Business. It began offering online courses in 1996 through its Distance Learning Program. Prospective students who wish to be admitted to NAU-Online need to visit the local campus academic dean or advisor for the purpose of ensuring the completion of admissions prerequisites. Financial aid is available to students who are enrolled in at least six credit hours and one 11-week course. Students are required to undergo the online orientation before beginning any online course. Course attendance is determined by the student’s log in at least once per week. Failure to do so may result to being administratively dropped. Tuition rates for undergraduate courses cost $ 299.00 per quarter hour.
