The list was considered shocking by some, with many insiders offering their predictions before the nominees were listed. With 12 nominations for Lincoln and 11 nominations for the Life Of Pi, the awards show snubbed films like Skyfall, Rust and Bone, and The Untouchables.
The excitement leading up the reveal of 2012's nominees was tremendous as many of Hollywood's best delivered powerful performances. Among the list were films like: Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Brave, The Life of Pi, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty, The Invisible War, and The Master.
