3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy Hits Hong Kong Theaters World's First 3-D Porn

The world's first three dimensional film, entitled "3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy" hit Hong Kong movie theaters on Thursday, April 14, 2011. The $3.2 million dollar skin flick centers around classical Chinese erotic literature and features all of the qualities of a typical adult film with the added bonus of 3D. The eighteen years or older movie-goers film reportedly "flocked" to the Causeway Bay theater, with some movie-goers skipping out of work early to catch a view of the 3-D flesh fest. Men and women from office workers, students, and even retirees filled the seats of the theater, located in Hong Kong's busy entertainment district, to watch the 113 minute, Category III (or X) rated film.

The film stars Japanese porn stars Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara. The sex-filled plot centers around a man living during the Ming Dynasty who enters the steamy world of an aristocrat and discovers that his long lost ex-wife is indeed the love of his life. Upon watching the film, many critics and movie goers rendered the skin flick "very interesting," "honest," and "uplifting."

The movie opens in Taiwan on Friday and will perhaps extend to Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States per representative Sharyn Yau, the publicist for the film's production company, China 3D Digital Entertainment Ltd.
