Grammy winning songstress Adele is moving to film in the Matthew Vaughn directed film "The Secret Service." The new mom is reportedly going to have a cameo in the spy themed film rumoredly starring the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Craine, Colin Firth, David Beckham, and even Elton John. Adele is expected to be amongst the villains in the upcoming film. That's an interesting debut as she perhaps transitions from music to acting!
A source revealed to the Sun Online: "Adele is exactly what Matthew is looking for. He wants the highest-profile names in various fields to boost the film's cause and turn into a mega-money franchise. You can't get much bigger than Adele in music, which is why he's so keep to get her involved. She'll be great value on the big screen."
The film is based upon the graphic novel penned by Mark Millar and will center around a veteran secret agent who befriends a young, straight-from-the-streets-of- London newcomer. The pair will follow a 007-esque path as they attack evil and fend off a number of villains. Caine is going to play the head of the secret service with Firth playing the uncle of the film's main character and Britain's Taron Egerton is slated to be the young spy.
