Amanda Bynes retires from acting? That's the headline making the rounds today, as Bynes posted an announcement on Twitter that she's giving up on the entertainment business.
Bynes tweeted: "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," followed by, "If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it."
Amanda then posted, "I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it..." and finally, "I know 24 is a young age to retire but you've heard it here first. I've #retired."
Is there any truth to the retirement news though... or was Bynes just venting, and/or being dramatic?
Amanda got her start on Nickelodeon's "All That" at age 10, before nabbing her own show on the kids' network. She's appeared in films like "What a Girl Wants" and "Hairspray," and will be seen in the upcoming "Easy A."
