Apple Presale of Verizon iPhone 4 Increases Anticipation of Feb. 10 General Public Sales

Apple's presale of the Verizon iPhone 4 began at 3:00 a.m. on February 3, 2011 and only increases the anticipation regarding the general public sales beginning February 10, 2011. The presale began at the Verizon Wireless website and at Apple's website and allowed existing customers to preorder new Verizon iPhone 4 before the phone is open to the general public next week. Customers who ordered the Verizon iPhone 4 will receive the phone on or before February 10. All Apple and Verizon retail vendors will open at 7:00 a.m. on February 10 for the launch of the new iPhone. The new iPhone may also be reserved, courtesy of Apple's reservation system, for pick up on the launch date.

The Verizon iPhone 4 features 16GB models for $199 dollars or 32GB models for $299. A minimum voice plan of 450 minutes, at a cost of $39.99 per month, and a mobile Web and Data plan, at a cost of $30 per month, is required with the purchase. An additional charge is added for a messaging feature.
