Apple Pulls Wikileaks App

Apple followed suit behind Amazon, PayPal, Visa, and other companies by severing business relations with the whistleblowing organization Wikileaks. Last week, Apple decided to pull any and all unofficial Wikileaks applications from its iPhone and iPod stores. Recent media reports indicated that Apple justified the severance of Wikileaks business ties due to terms of service violations.

Apple's decision to cut ties with Wikileaks is expected to have little, if any, effect on the organization but is expected to affect content and distribution of Wikileaks materials.
