“Bachelorette” stars DeAnna Pappas and Holly Durst are engaged to twins.
28-year-old Pappas and 27-year-old Durst were contestants on separate seasons of the ABC reality hit. The two met their fiancés, Stephen and Michael Stagliano, 26, at a party for 2009's "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" special.
Pappas, who split from fiancé Jesse Csincsak in 2008, was proposed by Stephen last May with a 2.12-carat ring. Pappas starred on Season 4 of “The Bachelorette.”
"I was crying, holding his hands, and he showed me the ring. I just nodded, like, 'Yeah!'" Pappas revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly.
Michael, who was on Season 5 of "The Bachelorette," proposed Durst on June 26 at her parents lake home in Doylestown, Ohio.
"I did it at sunset on a dock with a gazebo. I used fishing line to hang 55 fake engagement rings from the roof," he told Us Weekly.
Michael offered her five fake rings to represent different relationship memories, and then presented her with a 1.66-carat princess-cut ring from Boston's King Jewelers.
"I was like, 'Put the ring on!'" Durst said.
Durst came on Season 12 of "The Bachelorette."
The two couples are now planning a double wedding for next spring. Rumors are the wedding might be
featured on a reality show called "Four Better, for Worse."
"We're going to compromise on the wedding style. Holly's very girlie, pink and pearls," said Pappas.
"DeAnna likes fall colors: browns and oranges," Durst said.
All of them consented on the big day being “humungus!”
"There are three families. Lots of Pappases," Pappas said.
