Looks like the cast and crew for “Jersey Shore” are in for a big dive as they all are being hauled into court after being hit with a lawsuit by a woman claiming she was assaulted by security guards for the MTV docu-soap.
PopCrunch.com reveals that Snooki, The Situation, JWOWW and the rest of the controversial reality TV clan have been named in legal documents filed in New Jersey.
The lawsuit places in the names of the entire cast, their bosses at 495 Productions, MTV and its parent company, Viacom as defendants. The alleged victim — identified only as JP — claims four of the show’s security guards threw her to the ground after a heated argument with series guidette Snooki. JP’s lawyer claims her client’s chin was cut, which gave her a scar.
The recent incident leading to the alleged assault took place last September, the same night Ronnie Magro was slapped with assault charges for knocking a man unconscious. The beaten victim in that case was Stephen Ortiz, who is also reportedly suing MTV and the show’s producers.
