Church Vows to Burn Holy Quran on September 11

Your text to link...Gaining worldwide attention, a church known as the Dove World Outreach Center has decided to burn as many copies of the Holy Quran as they can possibly find on the 11th of September 2010. To mourn the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the church has announced that “Islam is of the Devil” and will show their feelings by burning the Holy Quran, the sacred text that is followed and revered by the Muslims just as Jews and Christians follow the Bible.
According to the Fire officials in Gainesville, Florida, where the Dove World Outreach Center is located, the church has been denied a fire permit to proceed with their protest. The interim Chief of Gainesville Fire rescue, gene Prince, told the local tabloid that according to the fire-prevention laws, the church cannot be allowed to set fire to cardboard or office paper including books.
The fellowship of the church still sent out an email that encouraged the members and said that despite the denial of a fire-permit by the officials, the burning of the holy book will be carried out as planned.
The website of the church outlines almost 10 reasons justifying why the holy book of the Muslims should be burned.
