'Craigslist Killer' Philip Markoff Indicted for Murder

Philip Markoff, the 23-year-old medical student who allegedly killed a masseuse he met on Craigslist, has been indicted and will be arraigned tomorrow morning in Suffolk Superior Court.

Markoff has been charged in the April 14 killing of 26-year-old Julissa Brisman, a masseuse who advertised on Craigslist, as well as for the armed robbery on April 10 of Trisha Leffler, a 29-year-old prostitute from Las Vegas.

Markoff will be arraigned Monday morning on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, two counts of armed kidnapping, armed assault with intent to rob, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The indictment was handed down by a grand jury, who heard testimony from witnesses, victims, and Markoff's fiancee, Megan McAllister.
