Elisabeth Hasselbeck took a moment on The View this morning to deliver a tearful apology to Erin Andrews for comments Hasselbeck had made the previous day.
ESPN's Erin Andrews, who was the victim of a stalker late last year, is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars. Hasselbeck made comments criticizing Andrews for her skimpy dance costumes and later realized she stuck her foot in her mouth.
During today's episode of The View, Hasselbeck said she talked with her 5-year-old daughter about saying things that hurt Andrews, to which her daughter remarked, "Mommy, why don’t you just call Erin and tell her you’re sorry?"
Hasselbeck broke down in tears as she issued her public apology. Andrews had previously commented that Elisabeth’s remarks were "a slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators."
