Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg Files Restraining Order Against FB Stalker Pradeep Manukonda

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has filed a restraining order against FB stalker Pradeep Manukonda. TMZ was first to report that Zuckerberg has received a restraining order against a 31 year old man who has attempted to "follow, surveil, and contact Mr. Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety." A judge has ordered Manukonda to stay 300 yards away from Mark and people close to Zuckerberg. Manukonda has also threatened Zuckerberg's girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, and Zuckerberg's sister, Randi. The order also extends to Chan and Randi.

Authorities within Palo Alto, California, maintain that Manukonda has visited the Facebook offices within the city, in an attempt to arrange contact with Zuckerberg to ask for money for Manukonda's family. Manukonda also attempted to reach Zuckerberg at his residence on January 24, 2011, but Facebook security intervened. Authorities were called to the residence and issued Manukonda a verbal warning. Zuckerberg claims that Manukonda then attempted to reach him via mail by sending flowers and a handwritten letter on January 28, 2011.

Manukonda has also sent multiple messages to Zuckerberg on Facebook, including one which read: "Pleas help me, then I am ready to die for you. Please understand my pain."

A hearing is scheduled for late February.
