FCC Investigating Apple and AT & T Over Google Voice Controversy
The FCC is investigating Apple and AT & T over the Google Voice Controversy after numerous Google Voice Apps were removed or unapproved from the iPhone App Center on iTunes. At this point the investigation has only just begun but it could signal an even more open mobile landscape that could shift more power over to developers, and smaller carriers.
While AT & T claims they had nothing to do with Google Voice getting removed from the iPhone it appears on the surface they have plenty of motivation to encourage Apple to remove this particular app.
