Graco Highchair Recall

Graco has recalled over 1.2 million high chairs produced from 2003 until 2009. Graco's Children’s Products Inc., and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have released a safety recall of the Harmony High Chair. The Harmony high chair is no longer in production and the recall is voluntary. The screws that hold the legs on the chair can loosen, fall out, and in combination with a faulty plastic bracket on the high chair, the back legs can cause the chair to buckle. Four hundred and sixty four complaints have been filed with Graco, Inc and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Twenty four reports of injuries have been filed, ranging from hairline fractures to arms, head injuries, bumps, bruises, scratches, and cuts as a result of the product's malfunction.

The high chairs were sold by Wal-mart, Sears, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory, and other vendors.
