Guns-N-Roses have been tapped by the NFL for Super Bowl XLVI's halftime show. The G-N-R reunion buzz was first announced by sports blogger Kensterling.com and is slowly gaining momentum. Rumors abound that the NFL hopes to convince bandmates Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, and Steven Adler for 2012's Super Bowl halftime event.
The reports follow in the days since G-N-R singer Axl Rose claimed he'd never perform with the band again. G-N-R have not played together since tension caused the group to split in 1990 though Slash and McKagan perform as part of Velvet Revolver.
