Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Julie Walters reprised their roles for part one of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films. The film has received great reviews from even some of the harshest critics. Rotten Tomatoes bestowed Deathly Hallows with the upmost acclaim, stating "It can't help but feel like the prelude it is, but Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is a beautifully filmed, emotionally satisfying penultimate installment for the Harry Potter series."
In Deathly Hallows, Harry is in a race against time and all kinds of evil to destroy the Horcruxes as he uncovers the Deathly Hallows, the three most powerful objects in the wizarding world.
Deathly Hallows was filmed under the direction of David Yates, based upon the screen play by Steve Kloves and novel by J.K. Rowling. The final installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, will hit theaters on July 15, 2011.
