Rumors had been circulating for months that Heidi Montag had posed for Playboy. PEOPLE has now confirmed that the reality-TV star will appear in the magazine’s September issue.
"There is nudity," a source told PEOPLE. "It's tasteful, she had a lot of fun with it."
Montag and husband, Spencer Pratt, most recently made headlines when they quit NBC’s reality show, "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" The newlyweds claimed they were tormented and left the show's set several times before returning and finally withdrawing.
Montag and Pratt married on April 25, 2009 in Pasadena, California.
Montag, 22, is best known for her appearances on MTV’s show, “The Hills.” She also debuted her fashion line, Heidiwood, in April of 2008.
