Ted Williams, a homeless Columbus, Ohio man, has become an internet sensation. Wiliams, a Brooklyn, NY native fell upon hard times due to drugs and alcohol, had resorted to panhandling to sustain his life. After two and a half years of sobriety, and due to a miraculous twist of fate, a CBS news affiliate in Ohio, passed Williams while he was on the street and in a quick interview, garnered Williams over 3 million YouTube views.

Of his overnight success, Williams stated during a Today Show interview with Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera, his only wish is to find a job for his "golden voice," have a home to call his own, and return to New York to see his 92 year old mother.
