Homeopathic Medicine and Hippocratic Tradition of 'First Do No Harm'

Mark Twain stated in 1890, "you may honestly feel grateful that homeopathy survived the attempts of the allopathists [conventional physicians] to destroy it" and his sentiment from hundreds of years ago holds firm in today's medicine given the present health care crisis in the United States and across the globe.

Homeopathy is based upon the principle"like cures like," and in the 19th century its healing powers were proclaimed by the "Oracle at Delphi, the Bible, and various Eastern cultures." Today's vaccinations and pharmacuticals are strongly based in homeopathy, following the "law of similars." Treatments and vaccinations force a positive immune response that protects the body from disease, illness, and negative immune response.

Globally, France leads the way in health care and homeopathic medicine. Forty percent of the population uses homeopathic medicine to treat illness and disease. Thirty percent of France's family doctors prescribe homeopathic alternatives. In comparison, the United States health care system sinks to 37th and most doctors refuse to even consider the benefits to treating patients with homeopathic alternatives.

Great minds believe/d in homeopathic medicine, in part because it follows the "Hippocratic tradition of first, do no harm." JD Rockefeller, Charles Darwin, Mother Teresa, and Mahatma Gandhi believed strongly in homeopathic medicine. Perhaps we all should too.
