Today is President Barack Obama’s forty-eighth birthday.
How does he plan to celebrate?
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs released the following statement giving the run-down of Obama’s scheduled birthday activities:
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office.
Later, the President will meet with National Commander of the American Legion Dave Rehbein in the Oval Office.
The President and the Vice President will have lunch with the Senate Democratic Caucus in the State Dining Room.
In the afternoon, the President will meet with the Vice President in the Oval Office. The President will also meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.
