“Friends” stars and real-life best friends Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are reuniting on Television as Aniston will appear on Cox's TV show “Couger Town,” Michael Ausiello reported, Hollywood.com says.
The site says producer Bill Lawrence revealed Aniston will play Cox's shrink Bonnie, who will be "kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist." He explained, "those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life Jules wishes she has."
This will be the second time the famous stars from “Friends” will collaborate in front of the camera.
But it was just the TV shows writers who wanted to bring Aniston in the show – Cox played a role in getting her friend to the sets of her TV show. Lawrence said, “It took us a while to find the show. And once we did and once it was clicking, I think that not only did Courteney feel comfortable talking to Jen about doing it, but comfortable in how funny she thinks the show is and that Jen would like it and fit into this world really well.”
Lawrence also said they're keeping their options open. This means Aniston will decide if she wants to continue playing Bonnie on “Cougar Town.”
