It's true: there’s no frozen Hell like that of a woman scorned yet there’s no sweeter revenge than happiness. And huge diamonds. Like in the case of Jennifer Aniston. Since the very public 2005 breakup of Aniston’s marriage to Brad Pitt, Aniston has been on a path to true happiness. And love.
This past summer, the forty three year old actress accepted a proposal from her boyfriend Justin Theroux. Theroux asked Aniston that question on his August 10, 2012 birthday with his representative dishing to Us: “Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage.”
The gossip train went running wild off the tracks following confirmation of the couple's upcoming nuptials. Part of the fuel that ignites its engines was fired up when Aniston’s bauble was snapped while the couple were in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on October 6, 2012. Many reports insist that Aniston’s massive diamond is “gaudy” and “too big” but considering the length of time Aniston has been on her own, it may be an adequate representation of the journey.
And now she doesn’t have to travel alone. Insider sources have revealed a destination wedding is on the agenda and that the happily engaged couple expect a happy marriage to follow. In the meantime, both Aniston and Theroux have plenty of work to do in addition to wedding planning. The pair are nestling into the luxurious $22 million dollar Bel-Air estate purchased in January of this year, preparing for their future together, and concentrating on their careers. Aniston is on wrapping up her latest movie, “We’re The Millers,” scheduled for release next summer. Theroux is busy preparing the script for the sequel to 2001’s Zoolander and the 2013 film Swear To God starring Steve Carell and Will Ferrell.
