In "Whoa!" news, glam reality starlet Kourtney Kardashian is facing a paternity suit filed by a male model named Michael Girgenti who is claiming that he, not Scott Disick, is father to Kourtney's 3 1/2 year old son, Mason. Kourtney's legal counsel, Todd Wilson, issued a statement to TMZ dispelling Girgenti's claim with "This individual has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years about Kourtney and her son, Mason. Scott Disick is Mason's father."
Despite Kourtney's denial, Girgenti's claims are (graphically) detailed. He insists he met Kourtney during August 2008 at a photo shoot and they went on to have a 3 month relationship which consisted mostly of texting. He then claimed that the pair had an "unprotected vaginal sex" during an encounter at Glendale. Nine months later when Mason was born, Girgenti contacted Kourtney because the baby resembled himself but she would not connect with him. So he began contacting the media in an attempt to get her to listen. Months later, when Kourtney and Disick's relationship was troubled, Girgenti claims Kourtney contacted him because Scott and her were "on the outs" and "she wanted to hang."
Girgenti filed paternity papers on Thursday in the L.A. County Superior Court requesting the judge to order a DNA test for Kourtney, Mason, Scott, and himself. He also requested joint custody of Mason. A date has been set in September for an official hearing.
Apparently Kourtney patched things up with Scott and responded to Girgenti's claims with letters from her lawyers as well as official statements to the press. The latest statement (from Wilson) furthered with: "We have not seen the reported court filing, but we are informed that this individual has been seeking to get paid to publish his ridiculous pleading. His claims are absurd and this is simply another shameful attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client.
Either way, the story is kind of interesting. It would be nice to see Kourt with someone who makes her happy...
