Lindsay Lohan Dropped From Inferno Porn Biopic

Lindsay Lohan has been dropped from the upcoming Linda Lovelace porn biopic 'Inferno' per reports from E! News. Director Matthew Wilder dished the details with "We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan. We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard." E! will make the big replacement announcement on Monday (unless the details are conveniently "leaked.")

Wilder cited the near impossibility of insuring Lohan as the top reason she was dropped from the film but supports Lohan in her sobriety and recovery. Wilder offered to E! "We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her - and some other issues - have made it impossible for us to go forward."

This may be a blessing in disguise for Lohan as she struggles to reclaim her life. Lovelace's painful, drug fueled past portrayed in "Inferno" may have triggered a relapse.
