Lindsay Lohan is facing a felony charge for a $2500 dollar stolen necklace. The L.A. County District intends to file charges Monday stemming from a January 22 incident within a Venice, California jewelry boutique. Surveillance footage from an in store camera depicts Lohan walking out of the store wearing the necklace and media photos show the actress wearing the same necklace in the days following the incident.
Lohan is already involved in an ongoing DUI case filed within a Beverly Hills court and is on probation. Lohan has insisted she took the necklace "on loan." Lohan faces a maximum charge of a three year sentence within a California state prison if convicted.
