Marilyn Manson and Lindsay Lohan want to star in a Charles Manson biopic. TMZ was first to report that metal rocker Marilyn Manson is in talks with Director Tyler Shields for an upcoming film about the notorious serial killer and cult leader Charles Manson. The rocker stated that he is vying for the role of Tex Watson, friend of the notorious Sharon Tate and (four others) Manson Family killer.
Oliver Stone has been slated to bring the Charles Manson film, based upon the apocalyptic "Helter Skelter" book to life just in time to mark the 40th anniversary of Tate's death. Stone has also been in negotiations with Vincent Bugliosi, the prosecuting attorney in the Charles Manson Murder case, for the film.
The "Beautiful People" rocker also suggested that Lindsay Lohan will appear in the film as the late actress Sharon Tate. Lohan has yet to ink a deal for the role but Marilyn dished to TMZ that producers of the film "love the idea" of him assuming the role of Watson.
Seventy four year old Charles Manson is presently serving a life sentence for the murders of five victims, including Sharon Tate. Parole boards denied Manson parole on eleven occasions though he is slated for another parole hearing in 2012.
