Michael Jackson's first track from his upcoming album "Breaking News" was released Monday, November 8, 2010 by Sony Records. The late King of Pop's first posthumous album, entitled Michael, is set for release in its entirety on December 14, 2010.
"Breaking News" was dubbed in 2007 while Michael and his family lived with music producer Eddie Cascio. The song addresses MJ's take on the media's continual exploitation of his life with the seething lyrics:
"They want to see that I fall,
cause I'm Michael Jackson.
You write the words to destroy
like it's a weapon..."
"Everybody wanting a piece of Michael Jackson.
Reporters stalking the moves of Michael Jackson.
Just when you thought he was done,
he comes to give it again."
