Although the entire technology world thinks that Microsoft finally succeeded in killing Yahoo search to become the only major competitor to Google, Microsoft's chief Steve Ballmer thinks otherwise.

Today, Steve Ballmer sounded upbeat on this new search deal and defended it saying that it's a great deal for Yahoo and investors are misunderstanding it ( Yahoo's shares tumbled after the deal was announced )

Steve said that Yahoo is benefited immensely from this deal. He said, "It’s sort of unbelievable. Did they sell their search business? No, they get to keep 88 percent of their business.”
