Team MotorCzysz, led by designer Michael Czysz, has won the second annual electric motorcycle race on the Isle of Man. Dubbed the TT Zero, the race attracted competitors from around the world, eager to prove their electric race bike would be fastest around the island's 37.7 mile circuit. MotoCzysz rider Mark Miller proved to be the fastest by far, lapping the course at an average speed of 96.82 miles per hour. His fastest trap speed was 135 miles per hour, more than 31 miles per hour faster than the closest competitor. The win is the first at the Isle of Man for MotoCzysz, who were unable to compete in last year's event due to last minute hardware problems.
