Rapper Nicki Minaj is slated to join Britney Spears' Femme Fatale Tour throughout North America beginning in June. Spears confirmed the addition Minaj via a statement issued Tuesday, April 12, 2011. The statement read: "This is the Femme Fatale tour and I am thrilled to have Nicki Minaj, Jessie and The Boy Toys, and Nervo get everyone on the dance floor."
The Femme Fatale Tour will include some of the best dance beats from some of the hottest American popstars but will not include Enrique Inglesias, despite previous announcements. The Femme Fatale Tour will include Minaj,one hottest American rappers to steam up the 2010 charts with her chart topping debut album, Pink Friday, Jessie and The Boy Toys, a California bast electro/pop band who sing "Push It" and "Hit Man," and Nervo, Australian twins slowly rising to fame with their song "Irresistible."
The line up announcement has only increased the buzz regarding the highly anticipated Femme Fatale Tour. Rest assured, the show will be H-O-T! Britney Spears will most certainly NOT disappoint her fans with the Femme Fatale Tour promoting her seventh album of the same name. The tour includes 26 stops throughout North America with tickets available for purchase on April 30, 2011 through Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Larry Rudolph, Spears' manager, hinted to MTV News the tour has a "post-apocalyptic vibe" with a "'Till The World Ends'" theme."
