Police say a man has been arrested at Paris Hilton's Los Angeles home after the socialite said he tried to break into her house while holding two big knives.
The man, named Nathan Lee Parada, was arrested about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Hilton shared her experience on her Twitter page: "So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him."
She also posted a photo on Twitter of police arresting the man.
According to PopCrunch.com, the intruder was a burglar, who has been arrested and charged with felony burglary following his knife wielding antics outside the socialite’s suburban Los Angeles home on Tuesday.
Parada, 33, broke into Hilton’s home at Sherman Oaks and held two large knives. He is in custody and is being held on $50,000 bail.
The site says Parada was arrested less than a month ago for breaking into a Kohl’s Department Store, where he stole over $14,000 of jewelry. He was charged with three felonies of burglary, grand theft, and vandalism. He was later released.
