Porsche, manufacturers of some of the most amazing luxury cars on earth, has elected to reveal a new 911 GTE in honor of its 50th anniversary. The remodel of the company's most iconic and successful sports car will be revealed at the 83rd annual Geneva International Motor Show from March 7 to March 17, 2013.
Anyone familiar with Porsche is fully aware that the standard for every model of their vehicles is streamlined with features based in the 911's speed, performance, and sophistication. The new 911 GTE is said to accelerate from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and can reach speeds of 315 km/h. It also will feature the Porsche dual clutch transmission, titanium rods, an aluminum body, 20 inch forged alloy wheels, rear wheel steering, electronically controlled rear differential lock, and a specially adapted 3.8 liter 475 hp six cylinder engine. This car was made to the same standard as its namesake predecessor to maximize speed, versatility, aerodynamics, function, practicality, and performance.
The new Porsche 911 GTE will be available for purchase March 5, 2013 for the basic retail price of $133,817 US dollars with the expected delivery to begin in September.
