A three year old from Cordes Lake, Arizona went missing Thursday. She got lost while playing in the woods with her dog, a Queensland Heeler, in a desert in the Prescott area near her home. Authorities combed the area looking for clues to the little girl's whereabouts to no avail. Thousands of children across the globe go missing every day. Some never return home to their families. Authorities were uncertain if foul play entered into the girl's disappearance.
The little girl and her dog ended up spending the night in the desert. The dog has been credited for saving the girl's life and keeping her warm in the thirty degree Farenheit temperatures. The pair were spotted "huddled" on the ground by a helicopter search party. They were unharmed and returned home immediately.
