Randall Cunningham's two year old son dies as a result of a terrible hot tub accident. The former UNLV record breaking player and 16 year NFL quarterback suffered a terrible loss on June 29, 2010. Cunningham's son, Christian, was found floating in the family's backyard hot tub at the Las Vegas, Nevada residence. An unidentified woman discovered the two and a half year old toddler at approximately 4:30 p.m. The woman quickly removed the little boy from the hot tub and performed CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Christian was transported to the St. Rose Dominican Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Authorities have been investigating the incident suspecting abuse and neglect at cause of the child's accidental drowning death. Cunningham was presumably traveling from San Diego, California, for his work as pastor of Remnant Ministries founded in 2004, to his home in Nevada at the time of the horrific incident. Church members gathered to exchange comfort and memories of Christian. A member of the church identified only as Miss Happy, stated in a recent interview that Christian "touched the lives of anybody who stood there and watched him. He's one of those little kids like 'I'll take you home with me.' I can sit here and talk all day about Christian."
Cunningham has three other children with wife, Felicity: Randall II, Vashti, and Grace.
