Pop princess Rihanna and rapper Drake have apparently resumed their romance per the latest scoop. Insiders report that the 25 year old Barbadian has resumed her ping pong like propulsion between (off again) ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and (on again) boyfriend Drake. This twisted triangle began following the then "end" of Brown and Rihanna's year long relationship in 2009 which culminated in assault charges and probation following a domestic incident in February of that year. Then Rihanna was linked to baseballer Mike Kemp and Drake during 2010 and 2011. One year later, rumors swirled that Rihanna and Chris were "talking again" and by January 2013 they'd gone public with their rekindled romance only to "completely end it" five months later.
Now it seems Brown's ban on Riri's communications with her post assault rebound man Drake did nothing but push her closer to him. A source revealed some of the details to Look magazine with "When [Rihanna] was dating Chris, he banned her from talking to Drake. She really missed him in that time - yes, they went out years before but he was also a good friend to her - so calling him was one of the first things she did when she realized she was over Chris."
A pal of Drake's also quipped to the same magazine that Drake knew Rihanna would return once the fire burned out again between Chris and her. Plus, per the pal: "[Drake's been] waiting patiently on the sidelines. Just over a month ago, Drake gave Rihanna an ultimatum. He told her he needed to move on if she wasn't going to commit. His love life was paused when Chris and Rihanna reunited, and Drake claims it caused him stress headaches, writer's block, and anxiety. He was obviously sick of it, but Rihanna wasn't ready for him. Now Chris and Rihanna are done for good, Drake finally might get his chance." Which wouldn't be sooo bad now, would it?
Now let's hope Drake's GQ premonition regarding the official end of the Chris Brown and Rihanna saga is wrong. He stated earlier this year: "If I think about it [Brown and Rihanna's relationship] too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly. Like, it gets really dark."
