The Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is well underway! The pair are now officially the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge following the exchange of vows at London's Westminster Abbey. Before an audience of an estimated 2 billion, with Prince Harry as his best man, Prince William vowed "I, William Arthur Philip Louis, take thee, Catherine Elizabeth, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse. For richer, for poorer. In sickness and in health. To love and to cherish, till death do us part. With this ring, I thee wed."
The event, dubbed one of the biggest royal weddings since Prince Charles and Princess Diana's matrimonial exchange thirty years ago, was a fairy tale brought to life before their families, their friends, their A-list guests, and of course, a world wide audience. Middleton walked down the tree lined aisle of the Westminster Abbey to her prince accompanied by music from the London Chamber Orchestra and clad in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown. The pair exchanged vows and shared a prayer they wrote together celebrating their big day.
Following the ceremony, the pair will arrive at Buckingham Palace at 1:25 p.m. for the highly anticipated kiss from the same balcony Prince Charles and Princess Diana kissed during their wedding. Following the kiss, Queen Elizabeth will host a post-wedding breakfast for 600 guests at the Buckingham Palace with Prince Charles hosting a dinner dance for 300 guests at 7:00 p.m. within a state room of the palace.
