Police are investigating after the bodies of two adults and five children were found in a Wilmington, CA, home. They are considering the case a murder-suicide.
The bodies of an eight-year-old girl and two sets of twins, five-year-old girls, and two-year-old boys, were found at the scene. The father is thought to have killed his wife and children, and then himself.
He called 911 and then sent a fax to a local TV station, KABC. He told the 911 operator that he arrived home to find his family dead. He admitted in his transmission to the station that he had killed them. He said in the note that he was distraught over "an employment situation."
The note was signed Ervin Lupoe, but the coroner's office has not confirmed that the adult male body found in the home is Lupoe. Ervin Lupoe and his wife, Ana, are both former employees of Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center.
