A stabbing occurred at Florida International University in Miami. Kendall Berry, a student and football player, was found dead Thursday. Authorities confirm Berry's death was caused by a "sudden stabbing incident" before many eye witnesses between the hours of 8 and 9 p.m. local time, and police have no lead on a suspect. The incident appears to be isolated and authorities are still investigating.

The campus of FIU and residents of the community are reeling in shock and mourning the loss of the reportedly "energetic and responsible" football player who led his team to success on many occasions. Berry has been described as a "great athlete" who inspired many with his passion for football. Berry scored a whopping 7 touch downs during a recent game.
