Subaru has announced the recall of nearly 74,000 2010 model year Outback wagons and Legacy sedans, built between February of 2009 and April of 2010. The cars have a steering column wiring harness that may crack with repeated flexing, leading to electrical shorts and component failures. Owners will be contacted by Subaru with details regarding the recall, which began on July 7.
