Sylvia Browne, an American, world renown psychic to the stars and author, has passed away. On Wednesday, November 20, 2013, Browne's website posted news that she was dead after, per her philosophy, going on to her next life at a San Jose, California hospital.
Multiple appearances on television and radio helped Browne become one of the most famous spiritual mediums of our time. She often used her "abilities" to help others and made many predictions (some of which later proved to be false) regarding high profile crimes, natural disasters, and other "psychic" events. Regular visits to shows like The Montel Williams Show, Unsolved Mysteries, and even MTV's Loveline only propelled Browne's popularity.
Browne's loss was felt most by her family, including husband Michael and two sons Christopher and Paul; close friends, including Montel Williams; and her fans.
She was 77 at the time of her death. A private service is being planned.
