U.S. prosecutors have launched an investigation and have begun building a case against Apple Inc's iPad email theft. Investigators will announce criminal charges regarding over 120,000 iPad users who were victim of a AT&T's 3G server hack. The hack breeched thousands of email addresses and personal information from iPad users who accessed the Internet through the AT&T network.
The investigation is being led by Paul Fishman, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, and the FBI. A press conference is planned for Tuesday afternoon to reveal charges and details regarding the iPad incident.
