The latest parody fest by Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg “Vampires Suck” dominated the box offices with $4 million on Wednesday night. The movie that aims at the much-love “Twilight” series opened yesterday in almost 3,000 theaters nationwide.
Following the vampire-comedy, was Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables,” which made a little over $3 million at the box office for a cumulative $45.66 million gross since it opened last Friday. The film also stars Jason Statham and Jet Li.
On third spot was Julia Robert’s romantic movie “Eat Love Pray,” which made $2.9 million. The film is playing in over 3,000 theaters and has grossed $32.43 million since it opened last Friday.
