Zsa Zsa Gabor's longtime friend and publicist, John Blanchette, has confirmed that the 93 year old actress was rushed to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Friday, November 12, 2010 for a suspected blood clot. Blanchette reported to TMZ that Gabor's doctor made an emergency house call to her Bel Air mansion to determine the cause of severe leg pain. Gabor's doctor confirmed a "massive blood clot" was to blame and paramedics were dispatched following a 911 call placed within Gabor's home. Gabor was quickly transported her to the hospital, under the threat the clot could potentially travel to Gabor's heart.
Prince Frederic von Anhalt, Gabor's husband, reported to TMZ that his wife was suffering from a "bad infection" in her right leg and had "no blood flowing" upon arrival at the hospital. Von Anhalt also reported that doctors treated Zsa Zsa with medication to dissolve the clot and resolve the infection.
Gabor is expected to be released from the hospital Saturday morning.
