Zsa Zsa Gabor's doctors reported that a surgery to amputate the ailing actress' right leg was successful. The 93 year old actress has been in poor health since a fall last July which caused a broken hip and has since struggled with various complications, including infection and blood clots. Gabor was hospitalized at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on January 2. Following months of antibiotic treatment in an attempt to save Gabor's right leg, doctors amputated the better portion of it.
Gabor is reportedly in stable condition and recovering. Doctors have not offered a further prognosis.
