Pima Medical Institute

Pima Medical Institute is a premier medical career college located in the western part of the United States. It was founded in January 1972 by Richard Luebke, Sr. and his wife JoAnn initially offering classes for a nursing assistant program before branching out to other medical professions in response to a growing demand by residents of Tucson, Arizona.

With the growing demand for high-quality medical career came the need for additional campus locations. Today, Pima Medical Institute maintains 11 campuses in seven states. Its main campus is in Tucson, AZ but it also operates campuses in Albuquerque, NM; Mesa, AZ; Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Chula Vista, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Las Vegas, NV; Renton, WA; East Valley, AZ; and Houston, TX.
In addition to its ground campuses, Pima Medical Institute also established an online campus in 2006 for busy working students who want to further their education but are not able to attend the traditional on-campus classes because of their work or busy family life.

The institute’s online program offers Bachelor’s degree completion programs, associate degrees and certificate programs. Its Bachelor of Science degree programs include Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences and Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy. For Associate degrees, it offers Associate in Health Care Administration and Associate in Advanced Placement Track – Radiology. A medical training course in Fluoroscopy is also offered. All online degree programs and courses are delivered 100% online.
Tuition cost for the online Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees vary per program. Financial aid is extended in the form of loans and grants.

The Pima Medical Institute is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.
